A mirror heat grid is the heating element bonded to the back of a side mirror that clears fog, frost and ice when the defrost is switched on. Burco supplies replacement heat grids so glass shops can restore heated-mirror function without replacing the entire assembly.

Heated mirrors are standard on many trucks, vans and modern passenger vehicles — when the element fails, a Burco heat grid is a fast, cost-effective fix.

What is a mirror heat grid?

The heat grid is a thin printed heating circuit applied to the rear of the mirror glass. When powered, it warms the glass evenly to melt ice and clear condensation, keeping the driver's view sharp in cold or wet conditions.

When you need a replacement heat grid

• The mirror no longer defrosts or clears fog.
• You're replacing cracked heated glass and need the matching element.
• You're building or repairing a custom heated mirror assembly.
